About Earthly Yoga
I am a practicing cardiologist in the United States. Throughout my career, I have treated many patients with a variety of cardiovascular diseases. However, I felt that they needed something more than medicine to make them healthier or to bring them to a state where they are able to return to fully enjoyable happy and healthy lifestyle. That is why Earthly Yoga exists.
I learned yoga beginning in my teenage years as I observed my father doing various Yoga asanas at home and giving me some instructions along the way. Later on, I continued to learn deeper aspects of meditation ( both theoretical and practical) and fortunately or unfortunately as the COVID pandemic unfolded, I used the idle time to become a certified 200-hour yoga teacher. My focus is on Ashtanga yoga. My passion is to teach meditation. I see the Asana and pranayama as well as meditation as a continuum where one practice leads to the next and to the next and so on.
My intention is to be able to give close attention to my students without making it too commercial. Because I want you to truly look at this website from the perspective of mediation and yoga, and not my the role as a physician, I have kept some of the information hidden as it pertains to my clinical practice.
So come and join me. I will make myself available as the time permits. I will arrange some classes where they are specifically directed to beginning to medium difficulty asanas and then some classes will be more dedicated towards meditation practice. I have tried to keep the price very nominal and if there is a need for more individual attention in a smaller group then I will give a sincere effort to make that happen as well.
